My new nifty Antec SX830 has this plastic "card guide" inside of it. I have no idea what the heck this is for. Can somene please enlighten me as to what this does, thanx
It's for supporting the front ends of full-length expansion cards. However, seeing as it's been ages since I've come across a full-length expansion card, it's pretty useless, so I removed the one from my SX-830
thanx for the answer
wow, never knew there were cards that could stretch an entire case length, shows what i know ill be removing that little thing very soon
Also, there was another piece of plastic in the hard drive cage. I had to remove this in order to push the hard drives all the way back. Why do they bother putting this in there if you just have to take it out? Or did I just do something wrong?
i JUST called antec to find out what that is, it's been bugging me for a long time! (i was hoping it was a clip for a 120mm fan, oh well )
mudboy's right. (linked here, on page 4) sorry anteccsr (but don't hold it against me, i'm sure i'll have some questions that i'll want answered by you and i don't want to piss you off and you give me wrong advice )
