Antec Basiq BP500U with Radeon X1950 PRO

Got a Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO 512 MB AGP, it uses 2 Molex connectors and reccomends 450watt psu. Needless to say my 300w is not cutting it. Thinking about this one:

Yeah that'll work. I'd go with the Corsair vx450w myself. It's quieter and close to the same price. $76 shipped - $10 MIR = $66.

Go with the Earthwatts for better efficiency, a single 12V rail, 3 yr. warranty, and it's costs less AR.

It's a great PSU for folks with common sense. Noise will never be an issue unless the case has poor ventilation. Efficiency is just short of 80% below 75 watts and above 435 watts output.

This unit incorporates a very simple high-efficiency design with little potential failure mode. KISS.

Also just found it's on sale at circuit city this week for $44! And COMPUSA has Antech 550-watt truePower (that's three 12volt 18A rails folks) for $69.99, no mir. hmmm. might just stick with that basiq for $44, I dunno. just want that X1950 to be happy
