I bought one of these a few months ago for $20 shipped. I haven't used it much, but noticed that it was very quiet when I was using it.

The refurbished SLK1650 for $20, seems like a nice combo deal. $40 shipped for Antec case and PSU doesn't seem too bad.

A lot of people complain about the SmartPower power supply that is included with the refurbished NSK1650. Personally, I own two SmartPower PSUs and haven't had any problems with them.

Another option is the refurbished NSK4480B for $30 (with free shipping) and the power supply listed in this hot deal. $45 shipped for a black midtower case and a decent power supply. The one thing I don't like about the NSK4480B is that the front fan mount only accepts 80mm fans, but the SLK1650 has that same limitation. (EDIT: The refurbished NSK4480B is now out of stock. Check out the refurbished SLK1650 with no power supply for $15 but without free shipping, about $26 shipped for me.)

Pretty cheap shipped price for a PSU that isn't pure junk. IIRC this Basiq model is made by FSP and will probably put out what is on the label.

I got 2 of the NSK1650 with 350 watt PSU about 6 months and 9 months ago, and one PSU was DOA and the other would not run any system newer than a P2 450mhz, I RMA'ed both and got brand new 380 earth watt PSU's that worked great.

Maybe you will getting the PSU's I sent back.

I only paid 0 for 1 and the shipping of $10.00 after rebate for the other.

So including the $10.00 each it cost me to ship back the 2 dead PSU's I paid $10.00 for 1 case and 380wat PSU and $20.00 for the other, which was a good deal but a lot of hassle.

Just some info for anyone considering this stuff, hopefully the problems were fixed when the refurbished them.

The power supply that came with your NSK1650 isn't the same type as listed in this hot deal. The NSK1650 comes with an Antec SmartPower PSU that has a single +12v rail, and the power supply listed in this deal is an Antec Basiq PSU with dual +12v rails.

I grabbed one of these for a print/file/backup server we ran at work for a while until linux started booting off printers and became a hassle. It has run about 6 months without any issue, this PSU is solid for the price. Grab one or two Y splitters if your running more than 2 fans though, it has a very limited number of 4 pin power connectors. Great PSU though.
