we want pics of the build once it's done. if it doesn't meet forum approval, you will be beaten mercilessly.

seriously, now I have a bad case of, um, case envy. I wonder if I can convince sunny d to do a 3 antec 900's for 1 DF-85? hmmm...

What's ironic is that SunnyD actually has no components for the case. He intend to use it to prop up his broken coffee table.

I came home this afternoon to a box of my doorstep. Wait no... not a box... more like a small three bedroom house with attached 2 car garage. The 8.5"x11" paper on top is for size reference.

No, there's a reason the paper is covering the address label and invoice and it was delivered in discreet non-descript packaging... :sneaky: I didn't know Antec was into that sort of stuff!

It would be funny if Anand just packed it with bricks with a "screw you" note in it :)

Well... not funny for you. But for the rest of us it would be humorous I think.

Since he is so humble, a large portion of the praise should rightfully go to Perknose. He worked long and hard behind the scenes to help make this happen. Without his voice here on these forums, I don't think anything would have come of it. Remember that next time he bans you! :awe:

A big thank you to Antec. Despite what these haters say, I think it's a fine looking case. Now maybe I can get Aigomorla and Gillbot off my "case" about this watercooling build I've been sitting on.

And thank you to Anand. It's a stand-up thing you did for us forum-goers. (Hint hint, you should do things like this for the forums more often!) I understand the position you were put in in many ways, so the offer to "make it right" means more to me than the case itself.

Congratulations dude!! You are a class act!!

Shh... don't tell anybody... but I finally put together a rig inside this case...

I'll post pics and stuff when I get all the bits and pieces together under water cooling...

I'll be honest, there are a few design items on the case I thought were poorly thought out or not considered at all, but it's one hell of a roomy case!

Well I have one complaint. The front fans have an issue with resonance noise. One or two of the fans have a rhythmic vibrational buzz. I assume a bit of rubber padding could fix this quite easily.

Sheesh...some guys would complain if you hung them with a new rope. :p

I hate those kinds of fan noises. Even when they're not loud, they still sort of work on your subconscious.

Yeah, it's exactly that too. It starts out unnoticeable... then after an hour or so I find my foot over there up against the case to make it stop. Totally involuntary too!

Congrats to SunnyD and an awesome gesture by AT and Antec (thanks Perknose, Anand and the entire AT staff).

After letting this post stick since August of last year, i think its time to let it down and just add it to the main post of other stickies.

If you feel this needs to be stuck again, let me know.
