Antec 900 or 900-2 wide enough for long graphic cards?

Hi folks,

I am gravitating towards the Antec Nine Hundred or Nine Hundred 2 (for its dust filters) as the case to get for my new build. However the cases' width seems to be a tad on the short side for mounting the current big-boy GPUs such as GTX 275 or 295 etc. Is this assumption correct? I am thinking of running two 275s in SLI - has anyone got such a build in one of these cases, and are they happy with it?

If they are too short (width-wise), then I am thinking of either the Antec 1200 or CM 932 HAF. The big plus for the 1200 is its dust filters, while the HAF is larger. Any thoughts on these two?

Cheers and thanks for the inputs! 🙂

go with the HAF, it should be easier to work inside and removes any risk of the case not being deep enough in back. alternatively, if you are looking for something specific to antec, the P193 is really nice, and it's pretty long as well. isnt as tall as the 1200 though but it's got a good bit more space than a 900

I've done several Antec 900 builds, including some that were running GTX 280 in SLI. They work fine with the following caveats:

The video card may block the adjacent HDD bay from being populated with a HDD.

The video card will block the extra 120mm fan mount that attaches to the back of the HDD bays, so it has to be removed. (Note that this extra fan mount also blocks the whole HDD subchassis from accepting drives and the front of the subchassis already has a 120mm fan so IMO it was not needed to begin with.)

it shoule be fine but you will need to (as zap said) remove the extra fan mount on the hdd cage.
another setback is that you cannot use huge tower coolers(noctua tuniq etc) if you want to use the side window extra fan mount because the case is not wide enough
