I have one of these currently, they do measure the RPM and they arent loud at all. Moves a decent amount of air too. Nice and bright as well. Good deal!
 
Unfortunately, free standard shipping only applies to the blue and tri-light fans. 🙁 The red one does not have free standard shipping. However, I have an email into customer support to see if they could apply free standard shipping to the red fans as well, since they are essentially the same thing. I'll let y'all know if I hear anything.
 
i was going to get the quad led fans from svc, but i dunno which would be better...

svc's might be brighter, but not as powerful?
antec more powerful, not as bright?

the antecs bright enough?

I got some color fans from SVC they are very noisy 3000RPM ones, I have a non lit antec one 2600rpm quiet but puts out a lot of air, my favorite brand of fan=antec 🙂
 
i bought this fan awhile ago. it's good but wasnt as quiet as i'd expect most Antec fans to be. 30dB compared to panaflow's 20dB or NMB's 22dB is a BIG difference.

these are 7.49$ at staples and there is a 10$ coupon off of 40$ purchase. Not sure if anyone needs that many of these though

I think they just say 14-24days shipping to scare ppl off of the free shipping option and force the 2day shipping.. and mine was the free shipping...

Here is the response I got back this morning from their CS regarding shipping on the red fans:

Darn. I already have two blue fans - just need a couple of red ones to replace them for the new paint job I'm putting on my case. I'd be all over this if I needed some blue or tri-light ones.
 
I wouldn't buy antec fans as they are pretty loud. If you want a led fan try searching for enermax - they also make led colored fans but they should be much more quiet.

Their response is not surprising. I bet they're trying to move the blue fans! May have too much in stock . . .

I have an ABIT KGR7A MB PC and an EPOX 8RDA+ MB PC. How will they monitor the RPM? I went to ANTEC's site but couldn't find info on this question...

The EPOX MB usually will monitor the RPM but I have only been able to get it to monitor the SmartFan (ANTEC) on my CPU. All the other ANTEC fans use the bigger power connectors like the HD and CD drives....

Am I missing something, or do I need to redo my setup or monitoring programs?

Interesting note is that it took me several tries to find these fans on ANTEC's site...

PS I use ANTEC fans in both PC's and they work as advertised.
 
I got this 4 pin y adaptor for $.50 plus $.75 shipping. It ships first class mail instead of ups, but I saw other places charging as much as $6 shipping for the same thing by ups. You're only out $1.25 if it doesn't make it by regular mail anyway.
