Regardless of subjective personal opinion, the 1200 moves a LOT of air and that's a fact.
Personally, I think the Cosmos is ugly, and that's not because you picked on the 1200.
🙂 That's why they make so many different cases with different designs, though!
I've been going back and forth between the 1200 and the Lian Li PC-A70B (and PC-A71B)...the Lian Li is a lot more expensive and is nearly tool-less but the 1200 is practically a freakin' wind tunnel compared to most cases out there. I feel that a lot of cases suffer when it comes to exhausting air, but not the 1200. Dual 120s in the rear and the 200 on top make sure that the hot air has no trouble getting out of the case.
Also, I prefer my drives to be mounted horizontally and I love the fact that the 900/1200/PC-A70 cases have fans that blow over the hard drives...lots of cases do this now but I'm willing to bet that HD temperatures are lower when air is allowed to pass over the top and bottom of them vs. being blocked by the first drive that's mounted vertically behind the fan(s).
The P180/P182 cases are nice also, and if your priority is a very quiet case, they are probably some of the best cases to come along since the Sonata. But with silence you sacrifice airflow, so it's all about picking a case based on your needs. In my case, I choose function over form. If it looks nice, that's a bonus!
