You ought to be beaten so severely you'll need a second bag over your head...where's the link man? 🙂

linky

1200 isnt a psu its a case and to bad it has tax or id snatch up two more of these sweet cases.. tax alone should be 20$ still might grab one but deal ends today!?

haha oops. I figured it was the next model up from the TPQ-1000... it'd make sense.

I just built a system with one of these, I paid $179.. Really went together well, great features. First class. The bottom mounted PSU is OK if you are prepared for it; be sure to grab a 4 or 8 pin cable extension when you order.

somehow when i see that case, i think of the image macro...

Moose knuckle... cause camel-toe has an ugly sister.

looks like a nice case. I actually like the clean look of the front (no doors). I hate doors, usually cheap plastic crap. Tho, my case has a door it's really quality. 🙂 Maybe I'll consider this for my next build.

My Cooler Master Cosmos has a very nice door. 1200 looks like a quility and reliable case. But OMG is it fucking ugly.

No, it's not. This is considered the best case you can get and trust me, I should know. I have one myself.

I like Antec's understated look usually, but the 900 and 1200 look a little kiddish to me. It's probably worth the money, but I'd choose the P182 over this.

Looks like a really nice case, but does anyone truly need 12 5.25 drive bays? I remember a professor of mine back in the mid 80s had an IBM PC AT with something like eight 5 1/4 floppy drives for extra storage in the days before large HDDs were available.

Regardless of subjective personal opinion, the 1200 moves a LOT of air and that's a fact.

Personally, I think the Cosmos is ugly, and that's not because you picked on the 1200. 🙂 That's why they make so many different cases with different designs, though!

I've been going back and forth between the 1200 and the Lian Li PC-A70B (and PC-A71B)...the Lian Li is a lot more expensive and is nearly tool-less but the 1200 is practically a freakin' wind tunnel compared to most cases out there. I feel that a lot of cases suffer when it comes to exhausting air, but not the 1200. Dual 120s in the rear and the 200 on top make sure that the hot air has no trouble getting out of the case.

Also, I prefer my drives to be mounted horizontally and I love the fact that the 900/1200/PC-A70 cases have fans that blow over the hard drives...lots of cases do this now but I'm willing to bet that HD temperatures are lower when air is allowed to pass over the top and bottom of them vs. being blocked by the first drive that's mounted vertically behind the fan(s).

The P180/P182 cases are nice also, and if your priority is a very quiet case, they are probably some of the best cases to come along since the Sonata. But with silence you sacrifice airflow, so it's all about picking a case based on your needs. In my case, I choose function over form. If it looks nice, that's a bonus!
