Hey, anyone with an Antec 1200 case... how do I get at the screwholes for the harddrives? The manual says put it in and screw but because the 2.5" HDD slots are inside the 3.5" enclosures, I can't get at the screw holes, and i don't want to leave it loose.

If I recall correctly from a build in the 900 (should the same), the hard drive enclosures actually need to be removed first.

remove the enclosure, insert hard drive, and use the long screws provided in the screw bag :p :p :p

took me a few minutes, then i picked up the manual, and issue was solved right away lol.

Ah... it does seem logical, if you consider the long screws. I had just rejected them out of hand.

And since we're talking about the Antec 1200... I had some *serious* problems getting the side back on after I'd made most of the cables go through the holes for cable management. I had to change my configuration several times until it fit, and now I have the majority of my PSU cables crammed together and cable tied at the bottom of the case, which really doesn't look very pretty. Did I miss something? I even had to use masking tape to flatten some of the power connectors that were in the cable management 'area' so that the side could go back on.

Yeah my 1200 has a rediculous amount of wires between the panels too - mine closes just fine though - you need to spread out your cables all over the back panel. Also - anybody noticed what a bitch it is to take out the front fan filters? The only way I can find to do it is to take out all those damn thumbscrews and pull out each hd box a little bit! So basically I have to tear apart half my case just to properly clean those filters /rant

same thing, i had to move them all over but there's no problems now. i think i did a very good job and when u look through the window, all you can see is just the 2 power cables for my GTX and that's about it, i cannot see the bottom of the case while sitting down so the power cables aren't visible.

also about the filters, i ended up removing every single thumb screw from the side where the side panel goes, so now all i have to remove is the windowed cover and i only have 2 screw holding every fan bay on the case. makes it much easier. and it's not like the bays need to be screwed in with 4 screws all the time. so IMO theres no need for the absurd amount of screws :p

this is before i did a little more management on my PC Power and Cooling PSU

Hey roid-
You setup is pretty sweet - you could definitely hide some of your wires better but it looks good with the black sleeving. That psu looks big and mean in your 1200 - I love the p & c psu's

You can barely see any of my wires but my hardware is nothing compared to yours! I'm still on a 939 x2 with a G92 8800gts :(

Me too, I really dislike the cases that are all snap-in. Because if it breaks... its broken. I will see if I can get a picture of my cables up somewhere. I just don't know how to get the power connectors flat enough for the side to close :(
