If we're gonna be really pedantic, the ice above the water level doesn't displace anything. Generally with floating ice most of the ice is below water level, but with a lot of ice sheets there's exceedingly large walls of ice above water level that contribute even more once melted.

It's mostly the other stuff though.

And a warmer planet will lead to the extreme weather events becoming even more extreme, on both ends of the spectrum.
Because of all of the extra energy available to drive the weather events. That's why 100 years storms are showing up every 3 or 5 years these days.

Liquid water expands when heated. It's miniscule in your cup for example, but make it an ocean and it will probably make a difference.
Yes it does.

If a volume of water warms by 5°C the water would expand by 0.385%
If a volume of ice melts, it shrinks by 9%

If the average temp of the oceans rise by 5°C we may not even be here to worry about it.
