Answering machine message

I made a phone call this morning to rent a room. I got an answering machine message, there were 2 little girls singing an X-mas song asking you to leave message. It was funny and I called 3 times in a row just to listen to the little girls singing.
I finally left a message:" Hi, I'm XXX. I'm have some questions regarding the room for rent. Please give me a call at ###-####. BTW, don't you think it is a little too early for X-mas, gilrs?"

My answering machine message never changed in years: Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee leave a message.

Mine was my roomate and I talking to the answering machine and then we just said to let the answering maching pick it up.

One we had for a whle was hello..... yes... can you wait a second... BEEEP.

Or one thats simple. Leave a message. done in 1 second.. Always fools people.

My mom called 16 times the first time I put it up, and I'd get maybe 1 message out of every 30 calls. Most of them were like this...

My hubby made one of him slapping himself (he has a weird sense of humour, don't ask) and then said in this lispy voice &quot;As you can see, XXXX is busy. Please leave a message&quot;. Well, he thought he was funny and did not tell me about it, so my family would call and hear it. Funny thing was, the only person that called was a guy about a job he had applied for a month before. Needless to say, he did not get it.
