Hey, a Customer of mine is asking about something he saw on TV, he says it was a device that takes messages when your online, The only thing I have heard of like this is done w/ the phone company, but he says its a standalone thing. Anyway, he asked me what I know about it, have any of you guys heard anything like this before ?? It doesnt't seem like this could work .....

"it's called voicemail."

VoiceMail/CallAnswer are provided by the phone company, which he specifically said this was not.

try callwave.com, they provide this service in my area for $1.00 a month.

the only annoying thing is that you can't minimize the panel, which is small to begin with but still kind of annoying. but maybe they fixed that with the upgrade.

hope this helps,

I recommend CallWave! Awesome program, and it is free, but ad-supported. It requires a service that is provided by the phone company, which is called Call Forward on Busy. It may or may not cost a montly fee, but if it does, it usually is a maximum of 1 dollar per month
