So, I'm going to be going out today or tomorrow and picking up a PSP I hope, and I wanted to know what this can do. I hear a lot about 1.5 and 2.0 PSPs. What's the difference? Can the 2.0 ones use the Genesis emulators and things?

What options are there for going back to 1.5 and what are the benefits?
 
I am not the most knowledgeable in this subject, but from what I understand only the 1.5 and earliers can run homebrew app/emulators and what not. The 2.0's have some extra features though, like a web browser. I do think that someone had found a way to roll back from 2.0 to 1.5 though, not sure how reliable it is. Hope this helps.


Also the 1.5's are pretty much impossible to find new now.
