If so, which one did u use and what was your experience?

The last time I got a credit report, I paid $30 from experian or something. I don't wanna do that again, these free credit report sites look tempting, I'm curious has to how easy it is to cancel b4 they start billing.

I tried the experian freebie and the instuctions to cancel were straightforward.

That was 3 months ago and i've yet to get it all sorted out.

I liken it to like an aol freebie.

🙂

I got a free mini-report by opening a checking account.

Them-"We need to run your credit"
Me-"What is it?"
Them-"798"
Me-"Cool"

I used freecreditreport.com, you get a basic report but you don't get an actual score IIRC. Just make sure you cancel before they start charging you.

There is an offer from yahoo finance to get 30 days free look on an experian credit report. Link is in finance forum section of fatwallet.com (just search credit report)

Don't ever get a "free" credit report. The only reason they claim to be free is so they can sell all your information to someone else.
