Another Witcher contract: Cockatrices

I fear this is another example of killing monsters before you have the contract.

The cave in the swamp was filled with them previously when the druid guy wanted his mushroom.

Now when I have the contract, the cave is replaced once again with respawning wolves. There are no cockatrices in the swamp outside I have seen.
I have not encountered them in the sewers (temple or trade) either.


btw...just exited and entered the cave immediately, and it all resets including the mushrooms and wolves.
 
hmm...am I the only person playing in such a way this happens to them?

The offical forum's registration doesn't work. I tried signing up with 3 different email addresses and never received a confirmation email so here and other non offical forums is where I must ask.
