Another what-to-buy question...

I will soon be getting a KT266A system with an AthlonXP 1600. I have been looking around at HSF solutions and happened upon the GlobalWin CAK8. It's $29 and was wondering how this has performed for people. I noticed it is not on the AMD approved list, which worries me a bit. The mb will most likely be an Asus A7V266-E, which should fit many other HSF combinations.

Also if I get my own HSF is there a reason to get the retail AthlonXP? The only difference I can think of is the warantee.

The warranty can make a big difference - ~3 years as opposed to 30 days or a year from most OEM retailers? That's over 30 times the length, at most. Better off forking over the extra $30 for that much more of a cushion, I'd say.
