Another Week on 56kbps. I cant STAND it!!!

I have been on DSL for the past 2 years....Now I move and I cannot get service for 2 whole weeks!! Now they told me I have to wait ANOTHER week!

I HATE BELLSOUTH!!!

Hey I am on dialup.. charter glendale is having an city wide outage. Anyway I am loving the fact that I am on the internet. As for websurfing speeds.. it isnt that bad... ATOT seems the same speed I get on cable.

For Joe Average User, dialup is just dandy. Or at least it was until about a year ago when streaming video ala CNN became the norm. For folks like us (me?) that DL large files (3mb+ ala UT maps and such) dialup is a death sentence. Not to mention NO online gaming. I hope you get your DSL soon!

Lol! I have that same problem whenever I visit home. Worse than that, I can't post to anandtech cuz they got banned at my house...
