I have a friend, who'se father converted his Porsche 928 to auto.
OK, now that one I don't understand. Mainly because a 5-speed 928 is currently worth more than an automatic 928. He could have sold his 928 5-speed and bought a nicer 928 automatic. A 5-speed 928 is almost impossible to find, whereas automatic 928's are all over the bloody place. Still, his car and his choice.

yeah but this was done a long time ago, before the 928 was considered a "classic", I mean when it was still in production in the 80s or osmething. The car in question is a 70s model or something like that. All I know is that its really old.
Ah, that makes more sense then. At that point the manual was probably worth less than the automatic. :)

Haha, that's over half of what I paid for the car! Thanks tho millenium. I'll prolly keep the tranmission as is tho because if I went automatic, my sister'd steal my car when I was asleep and I'd have ended up paying for her to steal it.
