Rofl yeah right...... When someone snaps like that they don't just walk away. It's a good thing he had a gun rather than filling his apartment with gas and blowing everything up.

Dunno - crimes like that are exceptionally rare, whereas gun crimes are relatively very common. Obviously we can't know, based on this incident alone, whether this guy would have resorted to something like that, but I'd say a fistfight would probably be likelier.

According to Kim's account (which will be readily proven or disproven), the gun used was actually Stafford's, which if true leaves no reason to believe Kim would have blown up his own apartment to hurt these people.

lol pwnt by own gun. Martial arts FTW. Btw, asian guy should get nothing more than unintentional manslaughter at the max. Maybe even claim self defense and get off.

So the dude will fry, and it'll hopefully serve as a lesson to other idiots that if you're going to do idiot things, you'll be held accountable for them.

Why does this have anything to do with limiting gun rights?

You're not very bright, are you? By charging him with capital murder, Texas is saying that he didn't have the right to shoot them. That's a pretty fucking big limit on gun rights.

Given that this was a used gun, what does an unused gun have to do with anything?

They're saying it's illegal to make real the threat of shooting impolite people, which is coercion to not use your guns for that. How is an armed society going to be a polite society if Texas kills anyone who tries to use arms to make it polite? That's rather rude of them. Perhaps Texas government officials should be shot until they get the message. :hmm:

See kids? This is what happens when women have sex with horses. You end up with people like the OP.

Just say no to bestiality.

I'm thinking there's something to this horse thing. No one can be this dumb (I say that knowing we've got other just as dumb people here, but, still)...

Chuck

I believe the asian man who lived there for 10 years and didn't cause any trouble then these diphead trashes living above him who instigated it

So you think he should go free?

I think this tells us all we need to know about the people who were shot.

WTF hasn't this idiot been banned yet?

You must've have rode on the short bus. He shot and killed two people. He will either die in prison or, with enough dog and seaweed soup, will fry.

No it's not, it's a limit on shooting people rights which is not the same on gun ownership rights.

For someone who claims to be a genius, you're pretty fucking stupid.

Well, obviously, you do it when either they're not home or asleep. I'd have thought this was, you know, pretty obvious, but I guess not.

You're just missing the obvious where it means they shoot you the next day on your porch. You did read the story, didn't you?

They had bought the dog only 9 months ago. Probably were having trouble training the dog. My neighbors cat dumped in our yard for about 6 months after they got her, but after she was trained she would potty inside or in a spot they taught her in the yard.

Leave it to the local trash here to justify the killing of two people over a dog. We all know why its all good here.

The problem with this is it is the same as people making arguments about violent crimes that could have been prevented if someone had a gun. I won't argue there are instances where someone not having a gun would prevent a homicide, and I won't ever argue that someone having a gun would have prevented a homicide (for a specific occurrence), but in the end, we never know. What we do know is that from the studies that have been done, no net change in violent crime has been observed for society as a whole with statistical significance to support most legislation restricting gun rights.

If you can't use it, you don't really own it, now do you?

Who said you can't use it? You can use it all you want. Go the range or out to private property where you won't hurt anybody and fire 1,000,000 round if you want. You just can't kill anybody for no reason.

You're pretty stupid.

ZOMG!!! Someone was killed, hurry post a link and call him a hero, and somehow tie it to the 2A!!!!!

Fucking idiot. Yea, we know people kill other people with guns, should We post every time some crack dealer offs another one?

Yes we should post every time a crack dealers busts a cap in another crack dealers ass....I like stories with happy endings!!!

And just because it's so damn amusing...

I've been on that side. A lot. When I was on Naval Security and we went through training scenarios, I was usually the practice dummy because I have this ability to make my body act as though I don't know what's coming, making take-downs realistic. (I identify the inclination to pretend, and then I just don't do it.)

I have faced down the cops with a gun. Faced them down with a knife. And I'll tell ya', the only time it takes more than a split second to disengage is when they've got you in a wrist lock so that you can't open your hand.

The purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to enshrine my right to hurt people. If the government says, "You aren't allowed any ammo; you must keep your gun disassembled; and you can only legally use the device to hammer nails into 2x4's," then that would be a violation of my 2nd Amendment right, wouldn't you agree? Likewise, the 2nd Amendment is not there to protect a right to punch little holes into paper.
Guns are for killing.
