OK, so I finally recovered from open heart surgery, and now I need a brain tumor removed. Its called a Schwanoma, and benign, but it has to go. So starting next Monday the 27th, I will be off-line for at least a week.

Sorry to hear that Mark. Thoughts and prayers your way. A lot thrown your way at once it sounds like. My Dad has battled congestive heart failure since his mid 40s and is still is kicking a year 1/2 away from 60. Hang in there and let us know how you are doing.

Mark, I hope all goes well. Glad you recovered from the open heart surgery and I wish you the best for the surgery. I know we all will look forward to your recovery.

I am sad to read about the thorny way in your life.
My best wishes for the operation and a speedy recovery.
Get well soon and I hope to see you back very soon!

best wishes to you Mark! I hope everything will go smoothly and you'll recover quickly. I sincerely hope that this will soon be over for you.

damn, first open heart surgery, and now a brain tumor 😱. thank god its benign...as far as major surgeries go, hopefully this is it for a while...

good luck...i'm sure you'll be back sooner than it seems.

Well, its over and I am alive. That's the only good thing. I am now 100% deaf on the right side, and I can't even use a hearing aid on that side, since the nerve was severed. I was told there was a 30% change of that, but lost anyway. Also, I can hardly eat anything, and I am so dizzy, that I need a walker, just to stay upright.

But I still thank of of you for my prayers,, It could have worse, I could be dead.

Anyone want gross pictures of the aftermath

Mark, glad to hear you came out of it. Being deaf on one side.....well, as you said, things could have been worse.
