Another successful XP1600+ unlock by me :)

I unlocked an XP1600+ quite a while ago, and just finished unlocking my current one. I will post my OC results here.

My current configuration:
Epox 8K7A motherboard
Samsung 512 mb pc2700 DDR
XP1600+ AROIA stepping


Results:
Highest FSB: 180
Multiplier: 8
Speed: (FSB x Multiplier): 1440

Going to try to up the multiplier now.

you need an 8k3a so you can use the 1/5 divider, unless you have a bios on that board that has 1/5

I do not think you need to unlock the 1600s anymore - most likey the majority can do 166 x 10.5 on any KT333 MB with 1/5 divider. A coupla days ago I picked up another for next to nothing and on my MSI KT333 it did 168 x 10.5 (even though it is the brown XP =harder to o/c XP).

Ya its great, I can run mine at 10.5x180... but I need 1.9Vcore and that gets a bit toasty so I run 176 which is about 1850 at 1.75.

Does anyone else know if the MSI KT333 usually OC to 166 FSB easily?

Great job frosty, it seems to me it gets easier every time i unlock one. My last unlock only took 1/4 as much as i did for my 1600+ of course if was a 2200+ so only the l3 had to be done
