if you were impressed with AIWA's bass then chances are you are use to hearing boomy overpowered bass. AIWA is not exactly a company know for its speaker quality. Like I said, in music you should not(for the most part) be rumbling walls with the exception of some rap and hip hop. Very few instruments play that low to be able to cause this so its mainly a synthetic note generated for the sole purpose of causing a "DAAAAAAMMMNN" factor.
I don't think your quite getting the point. This was not "rattle the wall" Bass, it was that perfect, low, almost inaudible bass that causes the guts to move. It was smooth bass without being overpowering and harsh or rattly. I know I don't know squat about music but I do know when something sounds natural to me and this did.
And that last sentece is partially wrong, you get some awesome bass from a good quartet, especially with a powerful sub. Natural resonance can be just about as deep as artificial, at least to my ears.
I do like boomy bass to some extent, especially in gaming, but it is not a neccesary thing. All I was trying to say is that to me, the bass on the Klipsh does not go as deep or as powerful as that from my Logitechs. This is no slight to them but the straight fact, it's probably caused by the much smaller sub in the Klipsch setup.
