ANOTHER School Shooting

yeah, of course there are deaths, but deaths like these really shouldn't happen. It's like if someone just walked up to you and shot you, would that be all right with you? And if you say yes, please, someone do that tomorrow.

I think it's more than respect. I think it goes back to the family values. I think there are some serious problems with american families these days. If every parent remained active in their children's life and was supportive, etc, etc, then all children would automatically learn respect and you wouldn't have both students that make fun of other students and also students with low self esteem.

Sounds good to say, and is probably what people have been saying for hundreds of years. When have children not made fun of each other.

I think your right, but also I think it's respect for themselves and their children as a parent to have those values. If you can respect yourself and others it will lead to taking the time with them. If my wife and I decide to have children and I cought them making fun of other kids I would have no respect for myself as a parent.

I blame the victims. If they didn't terrorize this kid everyday this would have never happened. School is a fvcking place to learn goddammit not a place for violence. Violence begets violence. Once it is started, it escalates. These stupid so called 'victims' are just as much a cause of all of this as anybody.

You want to talk about respect, how about the respect this kid deserved before any of this happened? From all acounts of the students that were there he didn't get any. He was terrorized. What did these victims expect? No one is innocent in this case. No one.

<< These stupid so called 'victims' are just as much a cause of all of this as anybody >>

FvCK THAT... the kid gets picked on, big freaking deal, everyone does to a certain extent...

I wonder why he was such an easy target for abuse. I knew many short and scrawny kids in my school who were never messed with. I would believe there is another reason.

Blaming the victims is utterly retarded. These people don't go in with a list and shoot certain people. They go in and start shooting everywhere. I'm sure there were plenty people at these schools that never picked on the psycho-kids (and many who probably didn't even know them) that could just as easily be targeted (just as law abiding gun owners are being targeted because of what they pscyo's do). And if if this weren't so do you honestly think that a kid deserves to die for picking on another kid? If so you're in need of some serious help. We should look at this at what it is: a terrible tragedy that never should have happened. Banning guns isn't the answer though (just as others have mentioned small bombs can EASILY be made, and there is slew of other weapons available as well. a guy running through the school w/ a katana could take out a LOT of people before being taken down). It's matter of bad parenting.

You're sure? I don't think you're sure of anything really. Why do you suppose right after the incident all the kids were saying that he was being picked on all the time? I'll tell you why: because they were there and you weren't. Because they know what went on and you don't.

"And if if this weren't so do you honestly think that a kid deserves to die for picking on another kid?"

Did I say that? Don't put words in my mouth. Especially not ridiculous ones, you can reserve those for when you speak. Oh wait that was you speaking...hmm.

it all started with the halting of the teaching of morals in elementary and kindergarten. strike at the source. it halted when the courts took down lists of the 10 commandments from every schoolrooms, leaving nothing to fill the gap. it's very sad regarding what happens in these warzones we call schools but we must do something to make sure it never happens again by teaching our kids early on about morals.

Well, there was another school shooting, and this time it was at a Catholic school. The suspect is a female I believe.

Fox News

OMG, and another attempted school shooting in California. I'm watching Fox News.

Upadate:

A student heard other students talking about a shooting, he then decided to tell the proper authorities. The authorities checked out the students who were talking about the shooting and found a few weapons, the then arrested the students and confiscated the weapons. I don?t know how much weapons, that is still unknown to the media.

The kid went into the bathroom and shot the two people in there, then he went outside and started shooting everyone he could see outside the bathroom. It was a random shooting, you can't blame the victims.

<< Pretty soon, school shootings will be so commonplace we'll get tired of hearing about them. >>

Yeah, until it?s your kid that gets shot next. But knowing you you'll probably say, oh well, my kid got shot no big deal population control.

I have a good chance of fighting you off

And you have a better chance with a gun.

So... youre saying that this wouldnt have happened if the other students had been carrying guns too?

f you're looking for a straight answer, without debate, the answer is most likely yes. If you know all the other
students are packing heat, you probably will not go on a shooting spree as easily.

You went to school on the short bus, right?

all this about school shootings are becoming too popular. teens are thinking, wow, i'll be cool, be on the news and such if i do it too.

... another shooting in my area. one dead. no others injured.
this has to stop.
we should start a group, ANTI SCHOOL SHOOTERS
A.S.S. well, we'll work on a name later.
