Another reason not to wear tighty whities

I'm usually a boxer guy, but I like to wear tighty whities when I go running, to keep 'em in check, ya know? Well I wore them running one day, then I sat around for a couple of hours before I went to a soccer game. Evidently the place I went running thru had chiggers - I only got two bites, one around my thigh and the other, yep, you guessed it 😛 So now I have to explain where that weird bump came from to my girlfriend.....😛
 
I live in Texas, and my next door neighbors are chiggers. The rest of the neighborhood tries to avoid them. Freaked me out at first, but I got used to them.

Also, I'm not sure what the original post has to do with tighty whities. Are you saying you wouldn't have gotten bit if you were wearing boxers?
 
Erub, wouldn't the elastic lining of the tighty whities have kept the chiggers from traveling into your nether regions whereas the boxers would have allowed them free reign over your entire body?? I don't see your logic.

Thats what I was thinking also. If not for the Briefs then you may have been attacked a lot more.
 
actually, i went to the health clinic at school about it, since i didnt know what it was, the doctor i went to told me that they like to live in nice warm, closed environments..making the tighty whities perfect..
 
yeah i got a tick on my nads once. it was NOT pleasant to dig it out of there. i was so grossed out. i went to go get a lyme disease shot and everything.
