Another reason Canada sucks nuts

i was in Canada and got a parking ticket at 9 PM! wth. i misread the sign on the pole and parked on the wrong side of the pole. well shit. since I had American plates, the fvckers couldn't just let it be? Is this how they treat visitors to their country? and what is up with gas stations giving me .85 cents to the dollar exchange rate? had to pay cash for gas since my cards are all canceled.

sadly, no. i wasin TO ( nice city, btw ) around cabbagetown. that area is dead after 7 so i was surprised to get the ticket. i sometimes park in tenant parking spots, at meters without money when im there, but this is the first time i got ticketed. what will happen if i never pay it? its $40 if that makes a difference

In Saskatchewan, the po po park our cars for us.
And we don't use gas stations, we pull right up to the rig and load up, the RCMP usually are washing windows there.

Well, in the middle of 'Captain' Ford's quest to cut the gravy train with invisible money parking tickets are a bit difficult to avoid for even us locals 😛.

I'm pretty sure the traffic officers hide in the bushes. That being said, the signs are pretty clearly marked as to where you can and can not park. Time of day has no bearing on where, only if it is free or not.
