Another RC5 question :(

I had my machines running at a 12 hour interval for flushing, I work nights and they flushed about an hour before I got home. I have been home now for about an hour. So 2 hours ago I sent roughly 2200 WU's to proxy.teamanandtech.com They haven't showed up yet, should I be worried?

Uh Oh , I think I'm screwed 🙁
I flushed one after coming home that isn't on my network until I get another switch. It did show up 🙁
The others are still MIA!!!

SilverBack, do you remember what pproxy you connected to with the missing blocks? I remember there was an issue with one of the baby bovines not flushing often... I'm sure Brad or someone else will be in here soon and tell you everything will be fine... Hang in there!

No I don't, I didn't have logging enabled.
So I take it that if I send my WU's to proxy.teamanandtech.com I'm hitting a number of round robbined servers?
I don't particularly like that idea. I started sending them to the teamanandtech proxy so I could view my stats regularly. But if there are servers out there keeping WU's for a long time it kind of defeats the the whole idea.

if you want to send your blocks only through mika's use core.teamanandtech.com as the proxy address. This way none of your blocks will go through the RR.

Don't get too worried Silverback. As it was mnetioned, it seems someone's B doesn't flush that often.🙁 It's a problem, but not a major one, since your blocks will ulimately show up.🙂

Thanks for the replies.
Well Mika's says I havent processed any WU's for 105 minutes. That was the small flush ( 400 wu's ) I did after my 12 hour flush.

Is it acceptable to send the WU's to core.teamanandtech.com?
I don't want to make a problem for Mika's server.....

You can flush straight to Mika's. I wouldn't be too worried about the RR setup, though. It looks like the one Baby Bovine just wasn't getting much traffic, so it wasn't flushing as often as normal. Most of the time, my blocks get over to Mika's in a VERY timely fashion...

*editted for stupid n't at the end of was... Doh!

Thanks,
I just did flush what I currently have done to the core..
I'm still rather apprehensive about my other 2000 WU's though 🙁

Silverback,

I'd recommend that you enable logging on your clients ASAP. I don't think that the CPU usage of that feature is even statistically measurable and it sure enables you to gain some peace of mind when things don't go exactly as planned.

One possibility that no one else here mentioned is that your client(s) may have "fallen back" to a D.Net server to fetch/flush. I don't know if you have nofallback set in your .ini setttings, but if you don't and the client cannot reach it's primary proxy server, then it goes looking for the regular D.Net servers. It's really a personal preference as to how to set this. I, personally, allow my clients to fallback, since in my opinion it would be worse to have my clients crunching randoms than to lose some of the stats on the team pProxy. Many of my clients have to run unattended for weeks at a time if necessary when I travel, etc. However, others may buffer extra WU's or take other measures.

My main point is that had you enabled logging, it would have been quick and easy to see exactly what server received your work. 🙁 I wouldn't worry too much though... WU's are almost never lost completely (it's never happened to me in over 1.5 years of cracking). 🙂
