Another Radio talking head incident

?This President is never gonna do the right thing. I think somewhere deep down inside him he takes a lot of joy about losing people, if he thinks they vote Democrat or if he thinks they?re poor, or if he thinks they?re in a blue state, whatever his reasons are not to rescue those people who are (planning?) for their safety.?

Now I caution both sides from using the excuse that the other side did this or that - it doesn't excuse it. The fact is - this sort of shrill partisan attack is not what the people directly affected by the crisis need - nor is it something that the rest of us need to hear.

I've been posting all day about how repugnant this sort of behavior is over this crisis and I don't care which "side" it is coming from - it's beyond disgusting.

So, where are your threads criticizing Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, etc.?

STFU, Freeper.

STFU, Freeper.

Hey liar, you are free to post a thread on their comments if you wish. Hell, post them here if you think they are trying to play partisan politics with this crisis.

BTW, how much did the GOP politicize 9/11? Newt was blaming Clinton within the hour. The Patriot Act was railroaded through very quickly in the name of "patriotism" and any dissent was met with blisteringly harsh rhetoric.

I think it's incredibly fair that this administration be criticized for its slow-motion reaction to the worst natural disaster in American history.

Randi is a bit crazy, but there is one of her and five like her on the right with 10x the audience.

Do you actually believe that Bush takes joy in poor people and liberals dying? Simple yes or no please

Looks like you didn't read my post, Liar.
"Now I caution both sides from using the excuse that the other side did this or that - it doesn't excuse it."

If I've learned anything since I've started paying attention to politics, it's that most people involved, either directly through elected positions, or indirectly through pundit roles, care about a situation only to the extent it will advance their political goals and viewpoints. Those on the right care about nothing so much as making sure the right wins, those on the left care about the left winning. Nobody gives two sh!ts about America, either what we stand for or the people who live here. If it's not using a natural disaster to bash Bush, it's using terrorism as an excuse to let out your nationalistic, fascist ideas.

A lot of people seem to be under the impression that those involved in politics care about them, whether it's Bush or O'Reilly or Michael Moore or whoever. But I think we're just kidding ourselves if we think anyone other than a very small minority actually think that way. And I hear everyone now, "Oh, my guy isn't like that, it's the other guys". "The liberals are all bad people, but Dubya wants to protect me." Dubya wants to protect you to the extent it helps build up the image of the Republicans as tough on things. Or did you miss the 11,000 times he used the phrase "War President" and smiled when he did it? And it's doesn't get any better on down the chain, regardless of what side of the aisle you are on. A few people stand out as above this sort of thing, but it's a depressingly small number.

Pst, had a look see at Rush's home page tonight? He could not stop liberal this and left that on his show today regarding the hurricane and how to fix the problems people are having associated with it. He is doing the exact same thing RR is doing with the exception that he is not blaming Bush.

I'm so freaking tired of this crap, so we have the worst natural disaster in US history and you're bitching that Bush isn't doing enough quickly enough.

Roll up your freaking sleeves & pitch in dude, there's lots of work to be done besides posting on the net about how badly Bush is handling things.

This is going to be a months long effort in the acute phase and years long to rebuild.

you're an idiot just like Bush is. If Bush had any common sense he'd have ordered every school closed from texas to florida, every single bus to be moved to lousiana to move people. If anyone has the power to do something like that it is the president of the united states. He just twiddles his thumbs and laughs, turns over fund raising to former presidents. He's a digrace of a president

Well, this idiot is helping refugees this weekend, and will be doing volunteer work for months in addition to an increased workload from the thousands of refugees in my city that need acute in-hospital medical attention.

What are you doing this weekend?

Believes Bush enjoys the death of political opposites ("actually I do"), says Bush thinks animal life is more important than human, and complains that Americans are fvcktards.

This IS the American Left: shrill, hateful, and out of control. Please you so-called moderates... do not play down this type of commentary because we see it everyday on P&N and in real life. The hell with your excuses. And anyone who thinks that kind of extemist dogsh*t will get them overwhelming election wins in 2006 is screwed in the head (but we already knew that).

I don't even know what you're trying to say there, but no worries. People like you ensure the looney left stays in its little irrelevant -albeit noisy- bubble. You're just too damn dumb to know your rants only hurt your useless cause, like a chimp who keeps pushing the shock button on himself.

I watch the news and it makes me sick that its taking so long to mobilize help for these people.

This is a huge failure of the federal govt...like a guy who called in on the O'righty...he said that if we had a multi-city terroriest attack in this country, we would be screwed.

My guess is the republican stronghold is about done...

I live in florida, i'm not exactly that close to help out. besides, I don't think it's helpful for anyone but federal and local government/military to go in and help as they have the capability and organization to handle large scale events, if everyday citizens did they'd probably just end up needing to be rescued themselves.
And if you're helping people that are coming to Texas, than that's great!
