The waitress who faked the receipt at Red Lobster got $12K even though her forgery was no where close to how the diner spelled "none" on the receipt. Plus Red Lobster got sued for a million dollars for employing a liar who destroyed that guy's life.

You should work in a place like a diner that serves breakfast all the time. Eating a 10:30am breakfast is pretty damn normal - especially on a weekend, which this was. You are grasping at straws.

whether the thing is real or fake, there is no reason for giving this person extra money.
1st of all, i probably wouldn't even give it much thought if it was me. I'd take a second to call the person a dick and then move on. I wouldn't post it to social media.
