Indy...there was a time not to long ago when I was in your shoes, coming from way behind, rising through the ranks like rocket. With not a little hubris (
🙂 )I started my own "Ultimate IntraTeam Racing Challenge" and kept stats of how I was doing compared to those ahead of me on the team. I kept these stats in the form of a html spreadsheet dubbed "The Ultimate IntraTeam Racing Challenge Leaderboard."
Well, welcome to a resurrection of
The Ultimate IntraTeam Racing Challenge Leaderboard.
🙂 In honor of your phenomenal contribution to the team, and your meteoric rise through our ranks, I've made
you the primary focus of the resurrected stats. Because of a little challenge that Hack and I have going on, I'm also using the spreadsheet to track our results. Presently, the stats are a bit preliminary, because I like to use 14 day moving averages, and don't have the necessary data yet. But over the next couple of weeks, the numbers should settle down into a good prediction of where you (and Hack and myself) are, and are headed.
This is not meant to stop you from forming a race with others. It is just that the methodology I use in this html spreadsheet is specifically designed to track the movement of someone rising up through the team ranks, so it seems fitting to use it to track your progress.
Just a quick word about how to view or interpret the data. The numbers in the column "IndyJaws Days to Catch" (Column F) estimate the number of days it will take to catch those who are ahead of you in the team rankings. For example, with the current numbers (remembering that they are preliminary), you would catch up with me in 126 days. Since you are currently outproducing everybody on the team, everybody ahead of you is currently "catchable", though you'll need the better part of two years to catch Grant (Eponymous).
🙂 Hack and I are in a race to #7, and the amazing thing is that you are only about 25 days behind us in getting to that level first, and you would soon pass us and push us back down a notch!
BTW, welcome to the top 100 on the team! I doubt if anybody has ever gotten there as fast as you have.
All this stats mania has got me looking at yet another milestone for several of us. Soni just made it into the
Top 1000 of all S@H producers in the world. Well, looking at the three month projections in the
Leaderboard, I think several more of us will break into the
Top 1000 before too long. Beginning today, I'm going to start keeping stats on the top 1000 users, and in a week or so will start producing a similar kind of html spreadsheet predicting when some more of us TA members will break into the top 1000.
Ain't it fun?
