There's one other thing that matters: these idiots who don't realize that anything you type, any pictures you post, etc., on the internet easily become available to EVERYONE on the Internet. <-- Some of the most basic knowledge about uploading information. Yet, these idiots are the ones who vote on legislation related to the Internet.
really, though, who cares?

are we shocked to learn that a guy has a penis?

are we really in such a prudish society that one legal adult can't send racy pictures to another legal adult?

the pictures themselves barely register at a PG rating.

/agree.

And in other news, a single congressman had sex with a consenting woman...

How is this news? There is nothing innuendo-ous about the name Louis Magazzu! Silly media.

Best comment so far.

But really, if a single guys sends pictures of his junk to his online girlfriend, so what? At least with Weiner we had the great name and he was married, but even then... so what?

What's amazing about your response is the number of posters here who seem to believe this. Then, one day, they get a job where a coworker finds out their online identity. They come crawling back to the moderators here begging to have their posts deleted. That happens far more often than you would believe.

i really don't have a issue with him sending pictures of his penis to a "girlfriend". Well if the girl is 18+ anyway.

but the guy is a idiot about it. really do you think they are going to keep the pictures private? or not tell anyone? nope its going to be released sometimes. either now or when he dumps her ass.

but i don't think he should resign over it. I don't care who they fuck, send pictures to or whatver.

I might be embarrassed over nude pictures of me being made public (and I'd feel bad for anyone forced to view them), but I can't fathom why it's so scandalous that someone would resign over it (when he's not married, and the girl was a consenting adult)

exactly. what happens between 2 consenting adults is one of my business (if legal).

he is not married and it was his "girlfriend". i don't get it.

Pretty much the point I was trying to make. Still, he is a single guy. He should just come out and say "Hey, I'm a single guy, I was trying to get laid. That's what single guys do." His conspiracy theories (even if true) merely make him appear to have doubled down on stupidity.

The county of my birth, which is extremely conservative*, has a County Executive who was busted while in office for soliciting a prostitute who happened to be an undercover cop. (Helpful hint: Any streetwalker who looks clean enough to undress is almost certainly a cop.) He didn't make a big deal about it, and it's not really been an issue. 'Fess up and look sheepish and embarrassed and people will generally chuckle, at least assuming you are single; act like a dick and people will assume your peccadilloes are merely more evidence that you're a dick.

* By extremely conservative I mean a couple years back they passed an ordinance that prohibited any gay people from moving into or living in the county, and a resolution calling on the governor to help them keep their county as gay-free as it was at that moment.
