Okay, here's a few I haven't posted on here yet. I've been experimenting with backlighting. With
this shot I used the D60 with MP-E 65mm macro lens and my twin flash, but I handheld one of the flash heads behind the fungi for backlighting. In
this one I used the same setup, except that I mounted a separate 550EX flash on a tiny tripod I bought just for this purpose, and put it behind and below the flower. My MT-24EX macro twin flash can control other Canon flash units wirelessly so I didn't have to use any cables or anything. In
this shot I used my 180mm L f/3.5 macro lens along with a wireless transmitter to control two 550EX flashes, one on my little tripod above and behind the mushrooms, and the other on the ground in front of them. I really like the effect this produces on still subjects. It really makes them come alive so to speak.
