how come in some performance ram articles they have the ram at say, 2-2-2-11 and its supposed to a really fast timing.... isnt the lower the timing the better eg 2-2-2-5? (11 is the "tras" latency?)

for some reason, on the nforce2 chipset, tests done by people have shown that 2-2-2-11 gives better performance than 2-2-2-5/6

why? i don't quite know why but that's what tests show.

again, this is only on the nforce2 chipsets (not sure if it's the same for the nforce3 chipset).

Only on nForce 2 and, perhaps, nForce 3 chipsets and only on dual channel setups. Peace.
