please PM me your address so I can steal all the stuff in your house and donate it to the poor. I wouldn't be physically hurting you and it will benefit tons of people (namely, me and my homies).

Maybe it was misleading but by physically hurt I meant more physically impact, whether that's bodily harm, or taking away something from my physical life etc. Torrents are 100% virtual and do not affect any physical objects. Sure downloading is still wrong as you should pay for content, but it should not be treated like murder either. People who are caught downloading or facilitating it should just have to pay a fine that's equivalent to a parking ticket as the crime is about equivalent to not putting money in the meter. But of course the big corporate lobbyists managed to make the laws ridiculous because they have the money and power to do so.

The sooner the media embraces torrents the better.

Any movie I download means I wouldn't have paid to go see it anyways. Warcraft movie? As much as I felt it kinda sucked, I still paid to go see it. Stupid politically correct remakes of past movies? Not worth a dime in my pocket. Nor will I download it either.

Look at what happened with music. People subscribe to Pandora, Spotify, buy individual songs on iTunes, etc... All kinds of streaming services. Why? because people are TIRED of paying $15 for 1 song on a shit CD. It's not complex.

Good analogy.

More like an apartment complex with infinitly expandable rooms, that require zero maintenance, and are occupied by some people that wouldn't otherwise stay there, but said "Fuck it, why not? I'll stay here awhile, even though the wallpaper sucks".

Meanwhile, they solved nothing, but wasted tons of taxpayers money while other way more important things are going on. Just another bogus front like the 'drug war'. That's been quite a success as well hasn't it. GO 'GOVMENT! Keep catering to those big bad companies lies and ignoring actual issues.

This is what happens when your "representatives" no longer represent "We The People" but are bought out by big corporations. Yes the cyber security task force is completely weighed down by directive from Hollywood and the Liberal Media, Inc. to go after file sharing sites, etc.

While the issues with botnets, malware, and ransomware costs legitimate service providers billions of dollars per year in lost revenue and IT work.
