Another new CPU for Seti !!

I finally got my Slot T adapter from Stratton Computer today so I replaced that P3 1000 slot 1 100fsb with the Celeron 1.1A tualatin I ordered from Newegg.

It ran perfect at stock volts on a 133 fsb right off, so I bumped it up until it went flakey and then tokk it back down a couple notches.

Right now it's running on a 142 mhz FSB for a cpu speed of 1562 Mhz!! (1.65V needed for absolute stability)

This is with mem times of 2-2-2 & 5t 😀

As soon as it's done a WU I will post the time here. This is a good day for upgrades 😀.

and you can probably sell the 1.0 pIII and make all your money back 😛

That is sureley a nice addition Wiz!
Don't you just love the Celerons with their OC ability...

That is a serious HSF! 2x 60mm sunon's. What were your temps? 25c? 😛

yeah, it ran cool (but kinda loud)
The P3125 is a fantastic HSF for slot 1. Too bad I don't intend to ever have another slot 1 cpu or I'd keep it.
Another thing is the fans use a lot of watts, it takes about 55 watts just for the fans!!! No way you would run that from the fan headers on the mobo!

Hey you got a much better speed out of it then my one!😉

What WU times are you getting?
Maybe I should try higher voltages?.....

Assim1, that was a 1.1AR but there was a kid playing on the machine for part of the time 🙁
The next one is a 0.5 so we will see how it goes...

I still have a P3125 sitting here. It is an awesome slot one cooler. 🙂 Thats a sweet processor to go with it too. 🙂
