Another new Asus A7N8X Deluxe NForce2 Motherboard Review!

found it strange that the CPU multiplier adjustments topped out at 14X as the AXP 2400+ has a mult of 15X. Hopefully a bios revision is on the way for further multiplier adjustments.

He clearly goofed on this one. On the pictures in the review, you can clearly see 7x/15x, 8x/16x, 8.5x/16.5x.

The editor is misinformed. However, gaven the option in the menu doesn't mean you can actually make it work. I unlocked my Athlon 2400+, I still have all the multiplier options in the BIOS. However, the highest I can select is 12.5X. I have never heard anyone successfully run 13X, or 14X yet in any forum or review, unlocked or locked. To check if you really have the multiplier working, you have to boot into windows, using WCPUID, Asus Probe, or by checking boottime Frequency to decide what actual speed you are running your processor on.
