No HDMI on that Asus, but still a great deal.
Was looking at this earlier today. Other boards should work for the combo, for a bit more $.

I under-utilized the MC that was in Santa Clara California when it was around.
I can't believe they let it shut-down.

My wife is still rocking a 1045t combo, I'm rocking a i2500k combo all from MC.

Picked up the A10-7850k and the Asus A88x-pro seeing as this chip seems to OC fairly well (4.2Ghz CPU clock and 1000Mhz GPU clock).

Also picked up some stuff off newegg to complete my upgrade.

Total for the combo from MC was $210 + BF4 (which i am personally keeping)

How much of speed bump is this cpu over the phenom II?

Depends on the phenom, but clock for clock it will be slower than a PhenomII

if you have a 3.0Ghz Phenom II quad core CPU the A10 will be slower in CPU performance, but the integrated graphics more than make up for that if you do any sort of light/medium gaming.

AMD APUs are not meant to be raw CPU power houses, they really are supposed to be power efficient CPU and very powerful integrated GPU.
