Another memory question?

CAS is the number of clock cycles it takes before data starts to flow once a command is received. So it takes CAS3, three cycles to respond, while CAS2 only takes two.
In my system Bios it tells me what my memory setting are, but I don't know if all motherboards do that.

Usually, there are homepages where you can cross reference part numbers on memory sticks and give you details of it's characteristics. But I don't remember where to find it anymore. Anyway, the easiest way is just like what GimpTG said but this is only if your mobo has auto setting for the ram. Another way is to set the CAS to 2 and if it works on stock CPU speed then consider your mem as CAS2. If they don't consider them CAS3.😎
