After recent videos of a student almost killing a teacher as he punched him out of nowhere this should remind everybody of what can happen. The teens 15 and 16 playing a game of knock out, except the victim died and now they're likely to be charged with murder.

Authorities have classified Rice’s death as a homicide and prosecutors plan to upgrade charges against the two accused attackers, Deshawn Owens and Donald Cotton, who were 16 and 15 years old at the time.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Janet Joyce said they are calling Rice's death a case of the "knock-out game."

Sounds like more of an actual straight-up robbery; regardless, they should definitely be charged with murder and robbery. Disgusting.

Normally part of the knock out game is where the group will huddle around and furiously pick apart the body for trinkets.

And some ridicule spidey for being prepared/aware of your surroundings at all times. May have saved this guy.
The victim — Lewis Rice, 46 — was so savagely beaten in the attack in late February that he never regained consciousness, said his older sister, Debbie A. Rice.
"He was a vegetable," she said. "He was hospitalized ever since, and we were praying he would pull through. He had his eyes open, but he couldn't talk, move or anything."

We really need a superhero that pops out of nowhere and instantly vaporizes trash like this the moment they commit the act.

No, that would be too quick and painless for them.

Parents who produce little thugs should also be spayed and neutered.

I agree with the above; the kid needs to be tried as an adult and put away. I really think society would be better if we simply executed people that commit this type of crime. I don't see how keeping them in jail helps anything, they contribute nothing towards society.

Why are they calling it a case of the knockout game? I don't understand.

"Today a woman was brutally raped in the park, her body left under some brush and not found until the next day. Authorities are calling it another case of Hide and Go Seek."

No we ridicule him for seeming to always assume that a "self defense" shooting is always a justifiable shooting.

Sometimes they are not.

Here's one with a happy ending.

http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/...-in-Stabbing-Jumped-a-Man-Cops-172466201.html

On Wednesday, police said Deandre Felton, 15, and DeShawn Jones, 13, were high on drugs when they jumped a man on Kensington Avenue last month. That man then stabbed the teens, killing Felton and injuring Jones.

"I just don't believe it. My son was not raised to be a troublemaker," said Valda Felton. "I don't want them or anyone else to make my child out to be a villain."

Meriden Police said the teens were at Westfield Mall before the attack and allegedly admitted they were high on drugs and wanted to look for trouble and beat someone up.

Police said Felton and Jones then jumped a man from behind, and he stabbed the teens with a pocket knife. That man is cooperating with police and, according to officers, was visibly upset when he was told that Felton died.

Felton's mother thinks her son's killer should be held accountable.

"At what point does anyone have a right to take anyone's life, it was not deserved," she said. "I just want to see him pay for what he's done."
