Happened just outside of St. Louis. If they turned around they could be downtown in 5-10 minutes. If the dash cam is pointing at 12oclock, turning it to 8 or 9 oclock you could see the St. Louis skyline very well since they are up on a big hill.

Pretty crappy on the cop's part.

cop is wrong for sure... but I love how the victim also dramatizes it... "standing in near-freezing temperatures" - umm, look at what you're wearing - where's your coat?

Well, in his defense on the clothes. I drove up from St. Louis to Chicago with my girlfriend 2 weeks ago. It was like 10 degrees out, but for the car ride we wore something comfortable. I was in gym shorts and a tshirt.. same for her. If I had been made to get out the car, I would have been freezing. If a cop asked me to get out, I would have thought it maybe only for a few minutes so I might have dealt with it. If I then had to continue standing for a while, I'd be pissed.

I dunno, if I am on a long road trip, I usually take my coat off once in the car. Maybe that's just me.

Does sound like a whiner though.

Whining a bit yea.. But wouldn't you be pissed and feel a bit inconvenienced? The vid was edited.. he was pulled over for over an hour.

What do you know... yet another documented event of cops behaving badly.

I know some of you would like to believe that just because a person has a badge and a gun that they're good people but that's just not the case.


I also think police dogs are pretty ridiculous. As shown in the video it's absolutely possible to get a dog to false alert in order to violate people's rights. Another things I find rediculous about police dogs is how they have it so that they're treated as if they are police officers... say if a suspect is being attacked by one and shoots it. They'd pretend in court that he shot a human being...

But if a police squad raids somebodies house like a recent infamous youtube video and guns down their corgi only to find a single marijuana pipe.. they are excused and not punished.

I would hope that there are police out there who go out of their way to try to push the bad cops out because as it is, they give all of the good cops a bad reputation.

funny thing is.. i have a lot of friends in collinsville and it's getting posted on everyone's facebook page.. its going viral this morning locally. that's how I saw it. Someone even posted it on Collinsville's Facebook page.....

That is a tired and horrible excuse. While I may think that sometimes TechBoy and Sand Eagle go overboard on cops your reasoning is just plain stupid and in conflict with our rights

Because cops will often damage your vehicle, tear up the dash, and otherwise mess it up.

A friend of mine had his corvette searched. They let a k9 IN THE CAR to search, and it fucked up his interior. They didn't find shit, but he left the car with his leather all fucked up and scratches on his dashboard from teh dog. It was 25th anniversary vette in perfect shape that he drove halfway across the country to buy. He wasn't happy.

I don't really post many cops vids.. Only reason I posted this one was because it's my home area.

Maybe because it violates my civil laws? And I know 2 people who had cops illegally search, and then plant drugs in the car. 1 ended up getting cleared, one went to PRISON for I believe almost 18 months. He had nothing to hide, and had done nothing. You go ahead and let a cop search your car, but you better pray they're not in the mood to plant shit on you. Could be drugs that aren't your, could even be a gun that was used in a murder. And some cops that aren't crooked will still trash the shit out of your car for not finding anything. I had this happen once. There wasn't any damage but everything that could have been tossed around was. And my keys were square under my drivers side seat. But they didn't tell me this when they said "you're free to go" it took me 15 minutes to find them.

Personally, I welcome these videos and feel like these topics NEED to be discussed. It's unacceptable, and keep in mind that for every 1 video like this there are 1000 who couldn't get the dashcam videos and had no repercussions.
