Another "Is this a good deal?" car thread- '94 Q45

Hi guys, I have an opportunity to get an Infinity Q45 in good (not great) condition for $5500. It has 114,000 miles on it and has been owned by a real estate agent (older lady, seems to drive it pretty easy) for the last 6 years. She's the second owner. Its condition looks pretty good but one problem I have with it is that occasionally it rumbles when it idles, and when it does a bad smell (maybe like burning plastic) comes out of the A/C. When I pop the hood this smell is pretty pervasive, it's like burning plastic.

It's at a pretty good price, KBB has it for over 6000 at even fair condition, could this smell be indicative of a major problem or is it worth the risk? Any help is appreciated.

How many places can work on that car? Have you priced parts? I'd LOVE to own one myself, but the cost to repair it keeps me away.

I owned a '94 Q45a for about two years. Loved the car. But when you need parts they are expensive and hard to find unless you go to the dealer (even more expensive). Oil changes are a pain because a tray under the front of the engine blocks the filter. I would have the local Infiniti dealer inspect the car before buying.
