Another iPhone lost again in a bar by an Apple employee. Yes it's the iPhone5.

there was nothing sensational or dramatic until you posted. The Apple is evil comment was after yours. So I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion.

Well, not here. I recall mentioning blogs, though perhaps I didn't specifically state which ones.

Try this one. Or maybe this one. The second one has links to many more posts on the same subject, all or at least most calling it a "stunt" from Apple.

And what's next? Alleged Apple "employees" impersonating police officers to search man's house for the lost iPhone. Complete with screenshots, deleted profile, mugshot, names, dates, and police statements.

I'm not sure about you, but I can't help but feel like in less than a week, Apple has gone from a sue-happy giant corporate to a conspiracy theorist's best dream ever. It's the news that are dramatic, not the response.

Edit: and by the way, SF police denied any investigation for a lost iPhone.

So note to confused Apple employees:

The goal is:

More Bars on the Phone.

NOT:

More Phones in the Bar.

You may now return to your dyslexia support group.

Holy crap. Nice criminal acts, Apple.

hmmm. it says he is a '26 year old' on his linkedin profile. However, the pictures of him look like he is at least in his late 30's, possibly even 50 years old.

Something doesnt add up. This whole thing proves how fucked up the entire 'journalism' industry is these days. Its all lies and heresay with absolutely no fact checking going on whatsoever.

edit: oops read it wrong. He was a cop for 26 years. Maybe there is something going on here...

There are several pro Apple blogs doing the same thing. Not sure what kind of angle you're trying to get at.

I do read a few pro-Apple blogs, and all of them have dismissed it as being a hoax so far, and not try to spin it as another to-be movie. So I'm not sure what "same thing" you are trying to imply here?

It does not say he is a 26 year old. It says that he is a "26 year retired law enforcement professional."

So an Apple employee and an iphone5 walk into a bar. One of them walks out.
*rimshot*

The first time it was an accident. When they realized the publicity helped sales, the second one was on dolphin.

I was just wondering the other day...has an image of this "misplaced iPhone" ever appeared?

so there really is no confirmation that this actually happened; just some creation of a false story by some brainless "marketing wiz" over at Apple, no?
It seems to be timed quite well with the announcement and release of a handful of superior Android phones, no less.

it's a blog.

not journalism.

nothing wrong with journalism; just that most people now confuse blogs with journalism, and have completely lost the ability to scrutinize news from hearsay.
