...GIANT EYE OF SERGIO DRIFTING SLOWLY OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC...
Sergio got a green card?Anyway, come on baby, we need the rain.
Now if they will just name one Sauron, it would be a legendary headline.GIANT EYE OF SERGIO DRIFTING SLOWLY OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC...
Sister and Mom are in Mexico Beach. Have they left yet...hell no. Have they packed yet....eff that. Sis(?) gave Mom a valium so she'd stop stressing. WTF is wrong with my family? Possible 9' storm surge.
I told Mom that if they got washed away, my bro and I would happily spend all of her $$.They are Female.... Need I say more?

Mom's 78 so.... TMI, TMI....Maybe your sister and mom want to see if they can take the full 9'. Go big or go home.

Now predicting cat 3 with 10-12' surge. They have to be gone by noon. Sis owns a jewelry/gift/stuff store...and no insurance because reasons. Plus there's a huge assed fishing boat that I guess is going to take a hit.

Now a solid cat 4 with sustained winds at 140 MPH with gusts to 155, with the fast forward speed if your in the northeast quadrant that's 140 + 12 MPH. Jesus, if anyone's in the way of this beast GTFO ASAP.
Is Tallahassee far enough inland to be safe? it seems like you wouldn't get the direct storm surge (which is the worst part), but that's not a lot of distance for the winds to dissipate. That would be me. And we're still here in Tallahassee. Fun for all.
Right? It really blew up. The NHC only started issuing advisories on the system 84 hours (3.5 days) ago. Michael has already shot well past the initial intensity forecast (it wasn't originally expected to even make hurricane status). Apparently that warm Gulf water has everything a growing tropical system could want.Holy crap, i never imagined it would strengthen so quickly and hit a category 4
