Another guy threw another person onto the subway tracks..pic/video inside

Need to do a background check on everyone before they are allowed to use the subway. Trains are too dangerous when used by just anyone.

Ok, guys/gals. No P&N comments please.

What I do not understand is why the frequency of this kind of incidents is up lately.

That's some fucked up shit. So glad I don't live in a major city.

I feel the same. I love NYC/big cities such as DC and love to visit but to live there? Too expensive and too many people/craziness.

Up or just reported on more?

What do people that live in big cities think? Happening more or just being reported more?

This will be the third incident that I am awared (for the last few months) of from the news sources:

1. Homeless guy pushed an old guy to his death in NYC subway.

2. Woman pushed a guy to his death (can't remember what city).

3. This one.

What a fucking idiot. Thank God these types of people have bricks for brains.

Yeah I just threw some women onto the subway tracks. Gonna go hang around City Hall now.

Wow, this guy doesn't even deserve a trial, he should have just been summarily shot to death on the spot when they found him.

Just reported more. I read a NY Times article saying that people being on the tracks and getting killed is actually pretty common for the NYC subway. I forgot the statistics but it's to the extent that if you've worked as a train driver for a few years, then it's likely that you've experienced running over someone. A lot of times it's people trying to kill themselves or accidents. As far as I know, forcibly pushing someone over the edge is still fairly uncommon.

Boy we need to get rid of this guy fast. Ship him off to the Arab states and let them have their way with him.

I understand about falling down because of carelessnes or being drunk/whatever reason or suicidal or "accidents" but push someone to kill him/her on purpose? That's crazy and unexcuseable.

Agreed. You can stop it completely if you put in those doors in subway stations that open and close at the same time as the train doors. But for a system like NYC, it's a huge undertaking and not financially viable.

Anyway I found the article if you're interested:
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/04/n...-at-trains-controls.html?pagewanted=1&_r=0&hp

It's eye opening because of how frequent it happens and I've never thought about the fact that train drivers have to deal with this in the workplace.
