umm, every turbo has some amount of lag - it's a side effect of what a turbo does. Unless it's a Sequential Twin turbo or a VNT, then you're gonna notice some lag in just about every engine. I'm sure the best engines that cope with lag are the 1.8Ts due to their miniscule size, but there's still lag there
You must not know of many turbo engines I'm guessing
