Damn stuff doesn't hold up very well when it falls out of your pocket and your automatic electric car seat crushes it...

Fortunately it was my work phone LOL
 
Edge-to-edge glass is less durable than if there is some sort of plastic shell around the outside, but I don't think any phone would have stood up to an electric car seat!
 
Think I'm going to get one of those $350 lumina 900's to tide me over until the next iP comes down the pike
