another ghost question

i finally got a working backup of my system on disk and tested it. everything's ok. but what i can't figure out is how to transfer my 9 gig partition backup to my 18 gig drive without having it make a 9 gig partition on it and the rest being unpartitioned space. i was told that i could move data from one hard disk to the other while retaining the size of the bigger partition on the new disk. what options do i use? i use restore partition and it made the 18 a 9 gig partition. i did restore disk and it did the same thing. this backup was made using the backup-partition option. thanks.

Ghost can restore to a different size drive and make it all one partition but you have to use the backup disk option instead of backup partition. Try it again and use backup disk/restore disk options.
