Do you have the video of it getting stuck in the tree? 😉

Actually I do, I just have to edit out 55 minutes of wasted video of it swaying back and forth in the tree.

Looks good. Wondering if my tiny E-flite helicopter can handle the weight of one of those things. (probably not)

This pen hardly weighs a thing, and you dont have to fly with the pen part attached, and you can take it out of its case to further strip it of the can its cased into for more weight reduction.

Sounds relaxing.

Yesterday morning I responded to your AV&HT thread btw

Yeah, I saw that, but man by brain is shot, there just no way I can do any of it. Im so high righ now on the doc pill, Im swaving back and forths as I type, let alone the mental powers to put jin mumber to add up shit. I was just hoping you may have known off hand what a 120 or 150 come out to be xize wize in 16:10 so I can just order.

And as far as where Im going to be at when I watch it, Im a man, man, I dont read manuals to tell me I need to be a 82 degrees south of 43, sitting at a 67 degree chair, to make the best of your picture.
I just plan on putting one of the suckers up, ploppin my fat as down, and going "kick ass", some where on the couch, or my office chair 🙂

Well if you're just stretching it over a small wooden frame, I would suggest getting 3-4" extra on each side so you have a little wiggle room and enough to properly attach it to the frame.

That means 71.6" x 109.76" for 120" diagonal 16:10 (including the 8" extra)
That means 87.5" x 135.2" for a 150" diagonal 16:10 (including the 8" extra)

If you're making a masking system and border for the screen, depending on your mounting option of choice, you may want to adjust the aspect ratio of the screen a little bit to have a constant size around the edge that will be covered up by the boarder... or you can just cover it up in the right ratio of 16:10 when you end up overlapping the screen with the border so you still end up with a slightly smaller (but still correct aspect ratio) image.

I bought that exact same super cub from hobbyzone for my first RC plane last summer. It was an impulse buy... Then I realized that I had nowhere to fly it..

So I took it to a park that had alot of area.. but also had trees everywhere and a baseball field(with tall fences). I couldn't get it to take-off out of the parking lot.. I had a problem with my assembly.. It just wanted to do donuts and then flip upside down.

After spending so much on it I didn't want to take chances.. but ended up doing it anyways. I full throttled it and threw it into the air.... and then... It was cool.. but it started flying towards the road and powerlines and trees.. I was able to turn it around.. But then it was coming right at me!! I was confused.. because the controls are now backwards.. coming towards me.. and more trees... so Instead of pulling up.. I turned around and ran! lol. It smacked into the cement. Broke the propeller.

So over the course of about 3 weeks I spent an additional $200 repairing the thing every time I flew it. And now it sets broken in our storage building.

Next time, I will buy a cheap rc plane to practice on.. and now I know of an open field to fly one in I shouldn't have these problems.

It's really hard as a beginner when you have obstacles everywhere and a $250 flying object.

This is probably the only thread ever posted here to promise a "frontal view video" that didn't get locked.

music should have been "flight of the bumble bee".

They didnt have it listed. I have to go through hundreds of songs around the length of my video and watch and listen ti find that "one" that goes sorta, or perfect with whats on the screen. It can take hours or days till Im happy with the one I find to match.

Id do them myself, with my music, but dont really need the riaa up my ass about it. If I could do it, it wouldnt take me but a bit to find the right mood music I was in that day when I flew the plane and did what was going on the screen.
