i did the ram deal and got Infineon chips. Very nice deal! I dont think i really need the ram but might as well max it out while they are cheap.

Yo!!! Just a question. Has anyone tried to return the sticks with the nanya chips? I got one of these last weekend and was fortunate enough to get infieon chips. Now I am thinking about trying the roulet wheel again and if I get the naya send it back. Accorrding to thier site there will only be a 15% restock if the product is openned, but I can read through the package. Maybe

Is SKU 03531 the same one this thread started talking about? That's all I'm finding on their site now.

BTW, Crucial charges $70 for 133 CL3, but $90 for CL2! That's quite a price increase! The performance can't be commensurate--right?

Yea Right thats the way I see it anyway. $20 bucks to go cl2 aint worth it.Try to tun it at cas 2 I have this memory and it runs 133MHZ Cas2 no problem

I just got my PC133 Value Ram from Staples. After pricematch and coupon it was $50 and no rebates to mess with. It has Infineon HYB39s128160ct-7.5c2 chips. I will test later this weekend to see what it can do.

Which one from outpost.com has the infineon ram. Is it the PC133 CAS3 or the PC100. I am overclocking my celeron 633 and was wondering which would be the better ram to get. 633 to 950!

If you're just moving to a 100MHz FSB, the PC133 would probably run at CL2 at 100 FSB even with Nanya chips. But I think everyone here is getting Infineon with the PC133--just read through all the posts.

Just a warning to some, this does not work in the Asus K7M motherboard. I had two sticks, one sent after I thought I had a dead one, and neither would work, however one worked fine in a Asus CUV4X motherboard. Another user on this forum has reported similar findings. The 128 MB Micron PC133 that I removed from the other motherboard to replace with this RAM to give my Asus K7M box worked flawless in the Asus. So there is an incompatibility with this motherboard.

To Infineon and beyond!!! Dam, Outpost is good, shipped overnight plus it arrived today...a Saturday. Infineon chips, too.

I got the one with Nanya chips too, and mine wasn't stable either at 133 cas3. It's already packed up to go back. Funny thing though, I got 64meg of the PNY PC100 a couple weeks ago, and it runs fine at 133 cas3. I guess it's like Gumps chocolates, you never know what your gonna git.

I only tested mine with the Infineon chips at 140mhz cas2 and it worked but was not to stable. I did not have time to test it at any other speed.
