This is sadly normal for that area. Should I feel guilty for no longer living in that state?

"Early Monday morning, another shooting occurred after a gunman fired at two men walking on the sidewalk near a memorial for Mr. Brown in the Canfield Green Apartments — not far from where Mr. Brown was fatally shot a year ago.

A 17-year-old was struck in the upper chest and a 19-year-old was hit in the chest, the police said. Their injuries are not considered life threatening, the authorities said."

Although I don't trust any "reporter" in that area (national or independent), I can't say I've ever been upset with Antonio French. He at least gave what appeared to be an objective viewpoint of what happened to MSNBC

Should just quarantine that city with a wall. No cop presence. Let it sort itself out. Should only be one left alive eventually to rule them all.

Notice how the "Man is Shot by the Police" as the headline

Only halfway down is there any indication that he shot at police TWO SEPARATE occasions.
And the protest leadership is upset that the police were there also as plain clothes. Why would that have any bearing on a legit protest?

You mean like this movie? And Fox even snagged the rights for a remake.

th

And along these lines of thinking, what I want to know is, what do the protesting mobs who are rioting and looting think they are going to replace the "racist" police there with besides a military style occupation they bring on themselves by their ingrained penchant for lawlessness? And the irony there is, the vast majority of the 911 calls to police in Ferguson also just happen to be from the very same minorities protesting the police presence in the first place.

If someone is a cop and a criminal tries to fight you and take away your gun, the criminal is probably going to get shot, and probably die, and it don't matter if the criminal is armed or not or how old they are or even what race either of them are.

What continues to amaze me, is that even this incredibly tiny amount of common sense seems to be completely lacking in so many career criminals, regardless of what race they are.

How does posting that (if true) on their Facebook page help the community?

It doesn't. This smacks of being fake or a hack it a disgruntled employee who wants to go out with a bang. Anyone thinking the department actually wants this posted there is an idiot.

It don't help it, obviously.

Was that even a real or a fake Fakebook page? Because Fakebook took it down. I would reckon it's just as probable that the instigators who are hounding Bernie could have put that up. Roasted pig head, anyone?

Here's our local idiot:

"Northwoods man charged with assault after shootout with police during Ferguson protests"

His twitter feed is atrocious. When will teens find it out of style to post themselves with guns and drugs?

You know, people keep bitching about England having hardly any violence with police against civilians...but I suppose we wouldn't be American's without being completely hypocritical. Perhaps people are a bit safer from guns in the UK because they live in a literal police state, ever think of that? Look at their knives laws

"Shockingly racist?"

Bad taste and bad humor and bad photoshop and insensitive to people who wrongly think the incident was about race, but: racism NOT found.

Except that nowhere do I see that it was posted to the Fergussen PD FB page... Just some un affiliated group..

Doesn't make it right, but I don't think the Fergussen PD should get the outrage for it but all we learned from this case from the beginning is facts don't count against public opinion.

Was he college bound? Makes a difference. :p

Family interviewed claims he didn't have a gun. Of course he didn't.

I would be very upset if my vehicle were surrounded by people hitting and scratching it. Running them over would do even more damage. And shooting them wouldn't unscratch my car. So I'd just sit in the stupid traffic jam they created like a good little boy, hoping that someone else snaps and murders them all.

How dare the cops accuse their angel of stealing a car and a gun?

The last time he was arrested for having a stolen gun while driving a stolen car was completely different.
