How about something like under each name and status in threads a logged in/NLI indicator? It would be useful I think for seeing if a person might be reading your reply then or later, if you should pm instead of post, etc 🙂 I have no idea how resource hungry this would be, but i'm guessing it would be a decent amount 🙂
 
I had this idea about a month ago, it got the axe. zuni said "No more features till the next version of fusetalk"
 
Yeah, this seems a bit tough on the resources. I'm not certain on how the info (like sigs) are pulled, but if they were pulled at each post, there would now be another check (per post) to see if the user was logged in. I'm allright with clicking on the private message or profile icon to see if they're logged in right now.

Not a bad suggestion, but the costs would outweigh the benefits I imagine.
