Another Family Values Hypocrite Bites the Dust

Imagine my surprise!

Representative Mark Souder, a conservative Republican from Indiana, on Tuesday acknowledged carrying on an affair with a staff member and said he would resign his seat in Congress as of Friday.

Mr. Souder disclosed his relationship with a married member of his communications team after being confronted by senior members of his staff . . .

Aides said Mr. Boehner referred Mr. Souder’s conduct to the House ethics committee on Monday, raising the possibility that Mr. Souder could have been subjected to an ethics investigation.

^^^ So then, he spontaneously saw the heavenly light and came clean!

The revelation made Mr. Souder, who was known for his push for stronger drug penalties and abstinence-only sex education for teenagers, the latest in a long line of members of Congress tarnished in sex scandals. He had made available a video with the employee discussing his work on the abstinence issue.

^^^ A video preaching "abstinence only" he made WITH the married aide he was fucking!

Apparently, he got caught boning her in a car which was happened upon by an Illinois Department of Natural Resources officer.

"I was concerned," said DMR officer Bobbi Jo beloved patriot, "I heard a high pitched voice screaming over and over again, 'I'm coming for you, Jesus' . . . and a woman's voice telling him to shut the fuck up!" <---- Ok, I may have made this quote up, but the rest is the sad, sordid, truth.

The centerpiece of the guy's first election campaign was . . . Family Values!

What can I say about the saintly Mr. Souder? At least he didn't commit the sin of gay?
